As I sit in my hotel room and reflect on my first day of the 2019 FETC Conference in Orlando, Fl., I think about all the excitement generated during the sessions. I want the same excitement in my classroom. I attended two sessions today presented by Apple. The first session was on coding. I thought I would attend this session to hone in on my STEM skills. I got an introduction to Swift playground and a wonderful little robot call Meebot, pictured here. The second session I attended was titled "Everyone Can Create" . I got over my intimidation of Garageband. I also got to channel my inner middle school student by drawing a cow with a little middle school humor. I am so ready for the rest of the week and can't wait to go back to school to implement and share.
